On November 15th The Commercial Appeal announced its selections for "The Best of the Preps All-Metro Team" and also "The All-Region Teams". All-Metro is picked by the sports writers and the "All-Region" team is decided by the coaches. Regional coaches met at the end of the regular season. Each had 2 offensive, 2 defensive, and 3 special team selections. They could not select players from their own teams.

Six Collierville players made "All-Metro" and thirteen were honored at different levels for "All-Region".

Coaches and sports writers were very impressed with Jr. Undray Wright by honoring him with an"All-Metro" selection and two "All-Region - 1st Team" awards.

Other skill players and special team stars were highly noticed as well when Sr.'s Steven Hall, Brandon Kennon, Andy Key and Jr. C.J. Passmore received the "All-Metro" award and the "All-Region - 1st Team" award.

Hall's all-around play won both awards last year as well. Hall, Key & Wright were each honored with 3 total awards.

Sr.'s Guy Featherstone & Brent Hogue received "All-Region - 1st Team" 2 years in a row.

Three year starter Sr. Nick Peterson received an "All-Region - 1st Team" to go along with his previous All-Region awards.

Sr.Turner Smith was named to the "All-Metro" Team and the "All-Region - 2nd Team".

Sr. Trey Day's solid play on both sides of the ball earned him two "All-Region-2nd Team" honors.

Two more Dragon defensive stars were noticed. Leading tackler Jr. Jake Storz made the "All-Region - 2nd Team" and Sr. Brian Bowie was awared "All-Region - Honorable Mention".

Sr. Jon Paul Brashear's offensive leadership gained him an "All-Metro" and 2 "All-Region" honors over 2 years.
